Shipping Policy
Last Updated: October 8, 2026
At Container Multi Services, we are committed to making the delivery of your shipping container as straightforward and convenient as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle container delivery, shipping arrangements, delivery timeframes, and related charges.
1. Shipping and Delivery
We offer delivery services for shipping containers and related products to customers in available service areas.
Because shipping containers are large and require specialized transportation, delivery arrangements can vary depending on:
- Container size and type
- Delivery location
- Distance from our available container depot or supplier
- Road and site conditions
- Availability of suitable transport equipment
- Local access requirements
- Weather and other circumstances beyond our control
Before your order is finalized, we will confirm the applicable delivery arrangements and shipping costs with you.
2. Delivery Areas
Container Multi Services provides container delivery to locations within our available service areas.
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location, please contact us with your full delivery address or ZIP/postal code. We will confirm availability and provide a delivery quote where applicable.
Additional charges may apply for locations that are difficult to access or require special transportation arrangements.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping and delivery charges depend on several factors, including the container selected, delivery address, distance, and transportation requirements.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, shipping and delivery charges are not included in the advertised container price.
We will provide the applicable delivery cost before your order is confirmed.
Additional charges may apply if the delivery requires:
- Special transportation equipment
- Extended travel distances
- Difficult or restricted site access
- Additional handling
- Waiting time
- Delivery to remote locations
- Special permits or other transportation requirements
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times vary depending on container availability, location, transportation schedules, and other logistical factors.
After your order and delivery arrangements have been confirmed, we will provide an estimated delivery timeframe.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to in writing.
Unexpected circumstances such as severe weather, transportation delays, traffic restrictions, equipment availability, supplier delays, or other events outside our reasonable control may affect the delivery schedule.
5. Preparing Your Delivery Site
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is suitable and accessible before the scheduled delivery.
Please make sure:
- There is sufficient space for the container and delivery vehicle.
- The access route is suitable for a large delivery truck.
- Gates, entrances, roads, and other access points are wide and high enough.
- The ground is reasonably stable and suitable for the weight of the container and delivery equipment.
- Trees, overhead cables, buildings, vehicles, fences, and other obstacles do not prevent safe delivery.
- Any necessary permissions or site approvals have been obtained.
If you are unsure whether your site is suitable, please contact us before delivery so we can discuss your requirements.
6. Difficult or Restricted Access
Some properties may not be suitable for standard container delivery.
If the delivery driver determines that the site cannot be safely accessed or that delivery cannot be completed without creating a risk of damage or injury, the driver may decline to unload the container.
Additional delivery costs may apply if a second delivery attempt, special equipment, or alternative transportation arrangement is required.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about site access before delivery.
7. Delivery Inspection
Customers or their authorized representatives should be available to receive the container when delivery is scheduled.
Upon delivery, we recommend inspecting the container and noting any visible damage or issues as soon as possible.
If there is visible damage that appears to have occurred during transportation, please notify us promptly and provide photographs where possible.
8. Delivery Delays
Although we make every reasonable effort to meet estimated delivery dates, delays can sometimes occur.
Container Multi Services will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Road closures
- Traffic conditions
- Transportation problems
- Equipment breakdowns
- Supplier or depot delays
- Port or freight delays
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Other unforeseen circumstances
We will communicate significant delivery changes when information becomes available.
9. Customer-Provided Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including:
- Full delivery address
- Contact name
- Phone number
- Access instructions
- Site restrictions
- Any special delivery requirements
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or additional delivery charges.
10. Delivery Access and Permits
Some locations may require permits, approvals, or special arrangements before a shipping container can be delivered.
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for obtaining any permits or approvals required for placing a container on private or commercial property.
Customers should also check applicable local rules and property restrictions before ordering.
11. Failed Delivery Attempts
A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if the container cannot be delivered because of:
- Inadequate access
- Unsafe site conditions
- Incorrect delivery information
- Lack of required permits or approvals
- No authorized person being available when required
- Obstructions preventing delivery
If a delivery attempt fails for reasons within the customer’s responsibility, additional transportation or redelivery charges may apply.
12. Container Placement
We will make reasonable efforts to place the container in the location requested by the customer, provided that the location is accessible and safe for the delivery equipment.
The final placement decision may be affected by ground conditions, access, overhead obstacles, available space, and the capabilities of the delivery equipment.
Customers should ensure the requested placement area is ready before delivery.
13. Third-Party Carriers
We may use independent transportation companies or third-party carriers to deliver containers.
When third-party carriers are used, delivery may be subject to the carrier’s operational requirements and scheduling.
We will coordinate with the carrier as necessary to facilitate delivery.
14. Changes to Delivery Arrangements
If you need to change your delivery address, delivery date, or other delivery requirements after your order has been confirmed, please contact us as soon as possible.
Changes may result in additional transportation costs, particularly if the container has already been dispatched or transportation has been scheduled.
15. Questions About Delivery
If you have questions about shipping, delivery availability, delivery costs, or preparing your property for a container delivery, please contact us before placing your order.
